September 26, 2008:
 

The Killing Circle is a National Bestseller in Canada.  Debuts at #5 on the Maclean's Hardcover Fiction list.  (Multiple weeks on the Indigo/Chapters In-Store List, and Random House/M&S list).

September 5, 2008:

The Killing Circle selected for the "Indie Next List," a shortlist of recommended titles from the American Booksellers Association.

July 7, 2008:

The Killing Circle gets a Starred Review in Publishers Weekly:  "Extraordinary...Powered by an ingeniously nonlinear narrative and suffused with a tone thick with dread, this is easily Pyper's most ambitious - and absorbing - work to date."

June 17, 2008:

Japanese rights to The Killing Circle have been sold to Shinchosa.  
This brings foreign sales of the novel to six languages to date.

May 13, 2008:
The Killing Circle, Andrew's fourth novel, has been acquired for adaptation to feature film by the London-based Cowboy Films (Oscar-winning The Last King of Scotland) in association with Brilliant Films, with Justin Chadwick (The Other Boleyn Girl) attached to direct. The producers are currently in discussions with a leading screenwriter to adapt.

April 21, 2008:
Spanish rights to The Killing Circle have been sold to Maeva.  This 
is Andrew's first translation into Spanish.


November 26, 2007:
The Killing Circle is coming! Andrew's next novel, The Killing Circle, is to be published in Canada(Doubleday Canada), the UK (HarperCollins UK), and the US (Thomas Dunne/ St.Martin's) in Fall 2008. Early foreign language sales of the novel so far include Holland, Italy, Portugal, and Germany.

November 26, 2007:
The Wildfire Season will appear in a trade paperback edition in the US, published by Picador, in late March 2008.

* The Wildfire Season has been selected as one of the 100 Best Books of the Year by The Globe and Mail.

* The Wildfire Season has been selected one of the Best Books of 2005 by The Vancouver Sun.

* The Wildfire Season was selected one of the Best Books of the Year by The Calgary Herald.

* The Wildfire Season is a national bestseller in its first month of publication in Canada.

* The Wildfire Season, Andrew's third novel, has been optioned for adaptation to film by L.A.-based producer Chris Moore.  Mr. Moore is the producer behind over twenty major feature film and TV projects, including the Academy Award-winning GOOD WILL HUNTING, REINDEER GAMES, all three AMERICAN PIE movies, and the groundbreaking television program, PROJECT GREENLIGHT.

* The Trade Mission was selected as a Top Ten Best Books of the Year by The Toronto Star.

* To date, Andrew's first novel, Lost Girls, has sold over 425,000 copies in all editions worldwide.
